LACATION CONSULTANT, OROFACIAL MYOFUNCTIONAL THERAPIST, DOULA AND PLACENTA ENCAPSULATION SPECIALIST

As a busy mum of three teenagers, I am aware of the day to day challenges women face when raising children. I certainly understand how tough those early days are, having twins and a singleton child aged under 17 months, when I longed for the a full nights sleep. 

I have been assisting breastfeeding mothers for nearly 20 years as, and I am passionate about helping mothers achieve their breastfeeding goals by educating and advocating for them.
I completed the ABA Breastfeeding Counsellor Course in 2003, and followed this up with a Cert IV in Breastfeeding Education - (Education & Counselling) in 2005.

In 2009, I completed further studies and became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).
I established my private Lactation Consulting practice in 2010.

My other roles include Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist (CSOM), Certified Doula (Cert IV in Doula Services), & Trainer & Assessor (Cert IV TAE) and an APPA certified placenta encapsulation specialist

Orofacial Myology which looks at the function of the muscles around the face and jaw are working properly. Issues with the orofacial muscles can begin in infancy and disrupt the growth and development of the craniofacial anatomy. Reviewing the function of the facial and jaw muscles may be the difference between a mother breastfeeding, establishing supply and successfully continuing the breastfeeding journey.

For your safety, I am fully vaccinated against preventable diseases and illnesses as recommended by The Australian Government (Hepatitis B, Influenza, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Whooping Cough, and Covid).

I also have a valid National Police Clearance and a Working with Children Check.
