It is really important to keep yourself well hydrated during pregnancy and labour.
A healthy alternative to tap water is Coconut Water.
Water from a young green coconut contains:
Calcium, Potassium, Vitamin C, Electrolytes and Dietary Fibre
Coconut Water, is available from most supermarkets and health food stores in bottles or tetra packs, which make them great to pop into your Birth bag as a great source of hydration during Labour too.
Coconut water is a diuretic, as it increases urination, which helps prevent urinary tract infections, a common problem during pregnancy. It can also help prevent and relieve constipation by improving the function of your digestive system.
Coconut water also contains high amounts of lauric acid, which has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties that strengthen your immune system and help your body fight infection.

6.2 g of sugar
